Program Coordinator I


Brooke Griffin graduated from Texas A&M University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Dance Science. Brooke served as the Dance Program Student Worker during her time at A&M, and participated and assisted with dance research. Brooke graduated as an Undergraduate Research Scholar and presented research at the International Association for Dance Medicine and Science Annual Conference in the Fall of 2017.

As a student, she danced with Brazos Dance Collective, Texas A&M University Dance Program, and Fade to Black Dance Ensemble. She has performed works from Christine Bergeron, Carisa Armstrong, Jane Weiner, Andy Vaca, and Kathy Dunn Hamrick. Brooke has also had choreography presented at the American College Dance Association Conference in 2017 titled, “Right in Ruin,” which was chosen for the end of conference gala.

After graduating, Brooke worked in Houston and the Texas Hill Country as a childcare provider. Most recently, she served as the Activities Director at Vista Camps in Ingram, Texas. In this role, she coordinated activities, helped facilitate carnivals, talent shows, dances and color runs as well as mentored counselors. As the Program Coordinator, Brooke will be in charge of our outreach programs, recruitment and performances. She will also work on marketing and publicity, maintain studio schedules, and mentor students with production jobs.
